Invited contributions to 5 DEFRA/HMRC consultations on waste management
After advocating for simpler and consistent recycling, “Simpler Recycling” launched in UK embedding many report recommendations.
Authored “Waste Management” policy brief for UN Plastics Treaty Scientists’ Coalition. Numerous citations in UN Plastics Treaty negotiations.

Plastics hierarchy used to reframe GMCA materials recovery facility (MRF) infrastructure breaking ground in 2024, reshaping Manchester’s recycling future with >£50m investment.
Hierarchy cited British Plastics Federation, Association of Plastics Recyclers (USA) and RecyClass (EU) in best practice to members.
