- Policy white paper ‘Tackling household plastic waste: best practice for a plastic circular economy’
- Invited contributions to 5 DEFRA/HMRC consultations on waste management
- After advocating for simpler and consistent recycling, “Simpler Recycling” launched in UK embedding many report recommendations.
- Authored “Waste Management” policy brief for UN Plastics Treaty Scientists’ Coalition. Numerous citations in UN Plastics Treaty negotiations.
- Featured in COP26 Innovation Showcase “Sustainable World”
- Invited POSTnote contributions on Net Zero and Reducing Plastic Waste.

Industry:
- Plastics hierarchy of fates adopted by 11 industry partners.
- Plastics hierarchy used to reframe GMCA materials recovery facility (MRF) infrastructure breaking ground in 2024, reshaping Manchester’s recycling future with >£50m investment.
- Hierarchy cited British Plastics Federation, Association of Plastics Recyclers (USA) and RecyClass (EU) in best practice to members.
